I have to reiterate previous judges’ comments because the breed seems to be acquiring faults that appear quickly, but will take years to annihilate. Some exhibits are carrying too much body which spoils the outline and some tails are so flat that balance is lost. Movement is still a big problem. I did find several narrow jaws and very few truly Oriental expressions. |

White of eye seems to be a problem again. Some dogs were carrying too much body which, with legs seeming to get shorter, is causing the problem with wide fronts. Although the weather was very warm most of the exhibits coped well. Surprisingly more dogs were entered than bitches. |
